This "tempo transposer" is very useful for owners of "old" samplers which don't have the time-stretch function. Plus, on Akai sampler, you can only apply a whole percentage (i.e 98% but not 98,65% ) which is not very precise. This calculators is very precise !! To the hundredth of semitones ( about 0.04 bpm changing in average ). It's very useful to Junglist and Drum and Bass composers too ! Transforming a 92 bpm groovie drum loop to 178.459 bpm jungle loop is a child's play ! For decimal values of bpm, use the point (i.e 96.326).

This one is the opposite of the first calculator. It gives the relation between transposition and bpm. Usefull when you have, let's say, a 90 bpm drum loop on your keyboard C3, and you want to know the bpm of this same loop played on a D3 ( + 2 semitones ). You can enter negatives and decimals values of semitones. I.e : 2.36 or -4.52 ( decimal values are hundredth of semitones ). Use the point to enter decimal values ( semitones or bpm ).

Another time-stretch classical, but this time for transposing a loop. When you pitch-shift a loop of, let's say, 2 semitones you raise it's bpm ( decrease it's length and play faster) proportionnaly. If you don't want the bpm to change, you first have to expand the loop, then apply the transposition. You can enter negatives and decimals values of semitones. Use the point to enter decimal values of semitones.

The same calculator than above, but here instead of entering the semi-tones, you can use the name notes (A2, Db4 etc....).

This one is usefull when you only know the length of a sample in milliseconds and you want to know it's bpm. Select the number of measures, the beat, and the length in ms...voila !

This calculator allow you to find the bpm of a sample when you know it's length in "samples". Choose the number of measures, it's frequency rate, the beat, enter the "samples" length, and you'll have the bpm.

Inverse calculation of the previous calculator. From the bpm and a frequency rate, you want to find the "samples" length per measure (whole note) or for any note value. Usefull to adjust loops or samples in a sampler, to find loop points, or adjust samples that we changed their frequency rates. Note that a whole note value corresponds to one measure.
